Winners outside the US may be required to complete Form W-8BEN. Residents of countries without a US tax treaty may have up to 30% withheld from their prize before payment. India, the UK, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe are treaty countries with reduced or zero withholding. Full details are in the prize terms.
